Booking Conditions 

  1. Our Details 

We are cheops.us owned by Canyon travel services incorporated in Egypt. (‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’). We are specialist travel organizers, and our business operates in Egypt’s travel & tours operations. 

  1. Application of These Booking Conditions 

Your contract with us is subject to these booking conditions. A contract will exist between us once you have paid your deposit (or such other fee as may be appropriate, for example where you are making a ‘late booking’) and we have issued you with our booking confirmation. If any part of our contract with you is found to be invalid or unenforceable, then the remainder of it will not be affected and will remain valid and enforceable. 

When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions and agree on behalf of everyone traveling in your party to be bound by them. All bookings must be made by a person aged eighteen years or over. Where your booking is for more than one person, the first-named person in your party aged eighteen years or over will be treated by us as the ‘lead name’ for your booking. The lead name will be responsible for making all payments due to us in accordance with our contract. 

Completion and submission by you of our Booking Form will be treated by us as confirmation that you have read, understood, and accepted these booking conditions. 

  1. Law and Jurisdiction 

This contract is governed by Egyptian Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Egyptian courts.

To Secure your Booking 

 

To secure your booking, you must inform cheops.us of your enquiry. A company representative will contact you to discuss and finalize the arrangements and send you an itinerary for final confirmation. You must confirm these details and pay the deposit, as discussed in your details; to cheops.us  by wire transfer or credit/debit card (Visa and MasterCard, both are accepted). 

Amendments by You 

 

Any changes made to the original booking are subject to availability. If the full payment has been received and/or a voucher has been issued, no administrative fees will be applied except on changes to tickets for air travel. 

 

Payment/Booking Policy 

 

We are offering a low down payment of just 20 % to secure your spaces on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid up to two weeks prior to your arrival date, therefore, your booking will be a risk-free investment. 

 

Payment by Credit Card 

 

When paying by credit card, a payment link will be sent to you by email, Whatsapp, or any method of your choice. We bear any the fees issued by our bank for credit card processing 

Monthly Installments 

 

cheops.us offers you a new payment plan that allows you to pay for your tours, Nile cruise, or other travel packages in monthly installments.
You will pay an agreed-upon amount every month, determined by the total cost of the tour booked to pay the deposit in  monthly installments leading up to your arrival. the full cost in monthly installments must be settled 2 weeks before your arrival at the destination. 

 

Cancellation Policy (Excluding Peak Period) 

 

Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the company with written confirmation that your reservation should be canceled. 

 

In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied:
●    From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 10% of the entire tour price will be charged.
●    between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
●    between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
●    between 14 and 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged. 

 

Additionally, airlines charge fees for both domestic and international flights which are subject to the airlines’ terms and conditions at the time of the booking. 

 

Force Majeure: 

cheops.us offers a very flexible cancelation policy in case the government or the airline issues a travel warning from/to your departure country and/or your destination. In the event of this happening, we will be refunding you the amount paid for the tour package, or in some cases, your payment will be available as future travel credit and travel voucher that can be used towards any of the destinations we or our partners, operate tours in. You have the flexibility to apply this amount towards new travel services booked within 12 months. Reservations will be adjusted to reflect these travel credits automatically. Only flights’ cancellation/changing fees are charged, according to the airline’s terms and conditions, and bank surcharges fees are applied on the deposit amount paid. 

 

We prioritize your well-being and safety above all else and for that reason, we have adapted our cancellation policy to reflect our values. 

 

Cancellation for Christmas, New Year, and Easter Vacation: 

In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied:
From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 75% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 14 and 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged. 

 

Additionally, airlines charge fees for both domestic and international flights which are subject to the airlines’ terms and conditions at the time of the booking. 

 

Black Friday Offers:
Black Friday deals will be available till November 30th on our website. Offers are only valid on new inquiries made during the Black Friday sale. Our Black Friday offers may apply to occasional and seasonal holiday packages. Exclusions may apply. 

 

Refunds 

 

 

Accommodation 

 

Unless otherwise stated, prices are based on two persons sharing a room (twin sharing). Rooms for single occupants are available with an additional supplementary rate. Hotels and lodges are named as an indication of quality and rooms may be reserved at an establishment of similar quality. Published prices are inclusive of tariffs and other costs at the time of printing and are subject to change without notice. 

 

Flights 

(1)Domestic Flights:
We quote the average price of flights with approximate timings. Requests for specific flight times or changes to previously booked reservations may result in changes to the total price of the package. 

 

(2)International Flights:
Preferred rates are available from your origin to any destination we operate tours in and your travel consultant will book you the right flight to match your scheduled tour just in time at very special prices. 

 

Responsibility 

 

The company acts only as an agent for the participants in regard to travel, whether by railroad, boat, aircraft, or any other mode of transport, and assume no liability for injury, illness, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity to person or property resulting directly or indirectly from any of the following causes: weather, acts of God, force majeure, acts of government or other authorities, wars, civil disturbances, labor disputes, riots, theft, mechanical breakdowns, quarantines or acts of default, delays, cancellations or changes made by any hotel, carrier, or restaurant. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expenses. 

 

Special Requests 

 

If the client has any special requests, he should inform the company at the time of booking. The company and its suppliers will try to satisfy such requests, but, as these do not form part of the contract, the company does not guarantee to do so, including for pre-bookable seats. If the company confirms that a special request has been noted or passed on to the supplier or refers to it on the confirmation invoice or elsewhere, this is not a guarantee to fulfill it. The client will not be specifically notified if a special request cannot be met. The company does not accept bookings, which are conditional on the fulfillment of any special request. 

 

Children Policy (A Child Share Parents’ Room) 

 

 

 

Tipping 

 

Tipping is customary for expressing one’s satisfaction with good services rendered to him by staff on duty with him. We advise you to tip as you are willing. This will be greatly appreciated by staff, but you are not obligated to do so. 

 

Complaints 

 

If you have any complaints while you are at the destination, please notify the company (cheops.us) immediately because most problems can be solved quickly. If you feel that your problem persists, call the Customer Care Manager while you are still on your tour; after you return home, if you are still not satisfied with the service you received you must write to the Customer Care Management. 

 

General Terms of Use 

 

  1. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Egypt.
    B.  Arab Republic of Egypt is our country of domicile.
    C. Minors under the age of 18 shall be prohibited to register as a user of this website and are not allowed to transact or use the website.
    D. If you make a payment for our products or services on our website, the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secure connection.
    E. The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.
    F. We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards in AUD, USD, EUR, and GBP.
    G. Multiple transactions/bookings may result in multiple postings to the cardholder’s monthly statement. 

 

Acceptance of the Agreement 

 

The contract constituted by the company’s acceptance of the client’s booking, subject to these booking conditions, shall constitute the entire agreement between the Client and the Company. The payment of a deposit or final payment by bank transfer or credit card indicates that tour participants have read and accepted all terms and conditions and agree to abide by them.
